What complete waste of time and money, attended Hammersmith, couldn’t find it as offices are unmark, telephoned for directions only to be told a woman based Prague! Quicker for me to look it up, here then was the sign of what to expect. The photos used in the advertising, bare no resemblance to reality, namely two tv screens with very basic graphics, with a 737 cockpit to sit in. The left rudder pedal broke in the first minute, computer crashed, 10 minutes later we started. I was offered add on time by my instructor.However as this was my worst flying experience ever. I didn’t take up his offer. Indeed had my instructor not been so engaging I would of left during the first five minutes.
Unbelievably to bring a guest is free, thereafter it’s an extra £11 sometime, this ladies and gentlemen is for the privilege of sitting on a row of seats behind the cockpit next to the free seat , having to watch this debacle.
The pictures on this tripadvisor site are NOT that of the “simulator” based at iPilot in Hammersmith. We turned up and were met with a mock cockpit crammed in to a tiny office with the side windows BLANKED OUT and nothing more than 3 tv screens on the wall in front. The machine was faulty, the rudder pedals were disconnected because they didn’t work. It took the guy 10 minutes to figure out how to fix a problem and he did not give me any extra time on my hour. He claimed to be an A320 pilot but didn’t seem to have a clue about some very basic things to do with flying. Overall if I get a full refund, I will still be very angry about the time I wasted out of my life.
Disgusting Customer Service
We arrived at your building in Hammersmith for my appointment which I had booked as a birthday gift for my father. There was no one at the reception desk to let us in but only a message stuck to the window to call “020 3695 0968” for our attendance to which someone would let us in. I dialled this number numerous times with no response. To this point we were still waiting outside in the cold and windy weather for over 20 minutes while I struggled to get a response from someone on the phone.
I then received a call from your colleague telling me that there is a technical problem with the simulator and my booking needs to be re-scheduled. I told him that I have arrived for my appointment and we are standing outside the building in the cold windy weather. He said that he will get someone to let us in and would explain to situation further to us. We waited over 5 minutes and still no one came to let us in. I had to ring him back to tell him that no has come yet to let us in. Eventually, someone came after 2 minutes who explained the problem to us. He said that there has been an ongoing problem with the simulator and that the previous customer to us also faced technical problems during their appointment.
If you were aware of the problem with your simulators then why you continued to take bookings and why you informed your customers of the problem only 20 minutes before there appointment to which they had already arrived for their appointment .
